Playing soon in a London theatre the life of Tammy Faye, wife of the convicted evangelist Jim Bakker, will be set to the music of Elton John with the lyrics penned by Jake Shears.

Tammy after leaving TV evangelism and divorcing Bakker and known for her flamboyant makeup and supporter of gay rights became an icon for gay people. Her life ended sadly by cancer in 2007. (Her Ex continues to swindle people going from one scheme to another.)

Olivier Award winner Katie Brayben will play Bakker, with Tony Award nominee Andrew Rannells as her first husband, Jim Bakker. (For more information, Click Here.)
