The most recently Gallop Polls puts the percentage of the US Gay Population at 5.6% which is a full one percent over their 2017 polling. How much is one percent of adult Americans? Over two million people.

Part of this increase is due to increase in population, but also included is that more Americans are feeling free to admit being gay.

(At Left: Alfred Kinsey who broke to the US and the world that there were a hell of a lot more "homosexuals" in the world than anyone -except gay people- had ever thought.)

Also, when you consider that millions of gay people are living in a straight society where their jobs and marriages could possibly suffer from coming out, not to mention the preponderance of gay preachers, priests, and rabbis, the figure is even higher, and in my view is on its way to justify Alfred Kinsey's figure of 10% that he suggested some 70 years ago.
