Whatever holidays you do or don't celebrate in December, it is a good time to be glad, light candles, cook food, greet friends and make the world a little happier and lighter.

The December celebrations are from of old when even in an unscientific world, men knew that in the northern hemisphere winter began relentlessly around December 20th. Although the early Christians did not know the date of their founder's birth, the Church chose December 25th as a good time to make merry.
