The UK with the support of Her Majesty has moved to pardons all convicted gay men whose "crimes" in the past would not be considered criminal today.

The new law is called "The Alan Turing Law," named after the gay man whose decoding abilities saved tens of thousands of lives during WW II. Following the war he was convicted of having sex with another man and subjected to chemical castration.

Every attempt has been made to rectified the real crime against Turing Including a 2013 royal pardon, a statue of him in London, a Broadway play, and the award winning film "Breaking the Code."

Surely, Mr. Turing would be pleased to know of the law in his name would exonerate thousands of gay men in other years who could be persecuted and killed by religious and political self righteous zealots.
