The Bisexuals are Coming Out of the Closet

A recently released study from Center of Disease Control revels that people who "swing both ways" with sexual partners are on the increase, especially among the 28 to 44 age group. NOTE: The CDC does not regard same sex relations as a disease. Rather sex is one of the many ways that diseases are passed on.

The CDC found: "75.9% of women and 88.6% of men aged 18"-"24 said they were attracted "only to the opposite sex."

Conversely, this means 24.1% of the women and 11.4% of men said they were attracted to same sex people, a figure above the Kinsey's findings of 10% back in the 1940s.

My view is that there are not more gay and bisexual people today, but rather 21st Century people are freer to tell the truth of their sexual attractions. It would seem that Kinsey was more spot on about homosexuality than people have believed. I think he found such high numbers of same sex attraction because he provided an atmosphere in which the subjects trusted him and told the truth. It took society more than a half century to catch up with the realities of same sex realities.
