Within a few day after the blockbuster new Star Wars film fired up movie screens, gay people started trying to draw a romantic line between two of the male heroes.

Why? First, because some gay people would have everyone they like gay from Mickey Mouse to James Bond. Second, one of the characters played by actor Oscar Isaac is himself widely reported as gay off the screen. Disney produced "The Force Awakens," and although the company is totally gay friendly, in my view it is not likely to present controversial matter in an ongoing entertainment venue that reaps bundles of cash. Okay, I admit believing that C-3PO is flamboyantly gay, but he's an droid and totally lacking in any sexual equipment to act on his instincts.
