The US has become three years or fairly normal living and one year of completely idiotic stupidity. Some websites list the ten most stupid thing said by a president wannabe, but there are so many to choose from, how can one narrow it down to ten? Here are my two stupid things recently from those seeking the highest office in the land.

Runner up: Mike Huckabee said if they had had transsexual operations (a reference to Bruce Jenner) when he was in high school, then he could have showered with the girls. WTF does this mean? That he was willing to have have his tallywacker cut off so he could be with naked girls? Maybe he just wanted everyone to know he was straight. On the other hand, what is the point of being with naked girls unless you the wherewithal to take advance of the opportunity. Lastly, girls had private showers and dressing booths in high school. Girls didn't gang shower popping each others' butts with towels. Here's another politician with a high school mentality.

First Place goes to the candidate whose name means something quite gross on his butt and has apparently some of the same stuff in his head. Rick S. said on a news talk show that if the Supreme Court rules in favor of gay marriage, then he plans to fight the Supreme Court. One envisions canons, tanks, and troops filling the plaza in front of the columned building. It turns out that "Fighting the Supreme Court" in Rick's mind does not mean hand to hand combat with 82 year old Ruth Bader Ginsburg. He means he will seek to get a future court to reverse the ruling allowing same sex marriage. Maybe in his mind that same future Supreme Court will do away with the 19th Amendment allowing women to vote, reverse 1964 Civil Rights Act, declare illegal the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments to the US Constitution, and allow the country return to slavery where the "colored folks" will be happy again picking cotton on the white master's plantation and all gay people will just disappear.

What we have here and will see in the coming year are candidates like the above throwing red meat to their voter base, and apparently their base voters are racists, homophobic, and more than a little stupid IF they believe what these candidates are saying or implying.
