An independent UK study released last week found 2,000 incidents of physical and sexual abuse going back since 1950 in the Methodist Church. Unlike the infamous cases in the Catholic Church involving mostly male youths, these cases were with both sexes.

Said one Methodists official, "The church has not always listened properly to those abused." For the sake of John Wesley and God, what other way is there to listen to complains of child abuse than the "proper" way? And of course, there was a cover up involved.

This horrendous treatment of minors is more wide spread in many denominations than was believed. The Jehovah Witness Church has paid a two million plus fine in a California case. Apparently, some of the religious people who have been calling gay people an abomination have been practicing some abominations of their own.
