While some politicians and clergymen have continued to advance their status and increase their bank accounts by bashing and damning gay people, the comedians have befriended and embraced gay people and their causes. There is just so much to be made fun of in the anti gay groups. (At Right: Steven Colbert on Comedy Central in character.)
1. For example, who would ever believe in these United Sates, that a woman with a gay husband (whom God told her to marry and obey) would run for the US Presidency? That is fodder that no comedian, male or female could resist for ridicule.
2. Or what about a twice divorced candidate that is against gay marriage because he believes in the sanctity of marriage? Which marriage? His first, second, or third?
3. Then there is the anti gay candidate that claims gay sex does not feel as good as straight sex. How would he know if he had not tried gay sex? This statement begs laughter.
Tongue-in-cheek comedian Stephen Colbert has the a funny film clip of the week entitled: The Big Gay Round-Up. To see it, Click Here.
