If you and your boyfriend/husband decide to share a dessert, you could be denied two spoons and one dish. It happened in one of the gay friendliest US cities, Washington, DC, when after a big big meal at The Prime Rib Restaurant, Ron Gage, 55, and his partner, Henry McKinnon, 58, told the waiter they would share one dessert with two spoons.

The waiter responded, "It wouldn't look right with two gentlemen eating out of the same sundae. It doesn't go with the ambiance of the restaurant.

The couple were so shocked they did not complain, but the next day they posted the incident on Facebook. The restaurant manages responded quickly in the "Washington Post," saying the waiter's words in no way reflected the policy of the restaurant. He also revealed the waiter was Bulgarian and spoke four languages. (Apparently, English was his weakest one.)

Someone said the experience was like living in the 1950s, which is exactly where the current majority of Washington politicians would like the country to return to.

Have you and partner/date ever been treated shabbily in a place of business? If so, please share it in the forum section of Apollo.
