The US Constitution requires that the country count noses every four years in order to know the demographics of its people. The current US President and his cronies want to remove any reference to gay people. (At Left: Proposed questions about gay people for the 2020 Census that may not appear.)

Questions about gay people began to appear in recent censuses. And why not? If only 7% of the people are gay, that puts the gay body count at 21,000,000 in the USA, which is about 4 million more than there are Southern Baptists.

If the current people running Washington were suddenly to decide there was no need to count S. Baptist, religious stuff would hit the fan. The "holy holler" people will not be marginalized even when every time they open their mouth about perceived morals, a lie falls out of their mouths.

The majority of gay people, on the other hand, keep their mouths shut on moral and political issues and doggedly accept the false and hypocritical judgement of people who have assumed the role of a "God Squad."

If there were every a time in US history, it is time for gay men to grow a set and start standing up to the bogus religious/political crap that is stinking and ruining our democracy.
