Here are the top:

1. San Francisco area: 6.2%
2. Portland, Oregon area: 5.4%
3. Austin, Texas area: 5.3%
4. New Orleans, Louisiana: 5.1%
5. Seattle, Washington area: 4.8%
6. Boston, Massachusetts area: 4.8%
7. Salt Lake City, Utah: 4.7%
8. Los Angeles, California area: 4.6%
9. Denver, Colorado area: 4.6%
10. Hartford, Connecticut area: 4.6%

These figures are probably a little low due to many gay men's profession or straight marriage that keeps them closeted, but who would think that those "magic underwear" Mormons would have a higher percentage of gay people than Los Angeles? Probably because if you are gay in Utah, there is only one city to flee to for refuge.
