Dear Doc, For most men over the age of 40 who have erection loss, PE or less intense orgasms, what safe, effective supplement would you recommend? -Richard

Hi Richard, That is a very diverse question since there are many causes for all of these things. Keeping the pipes clean through repeated draining is good, use it or lose it. Some issues are vascular with age and can parallel diabetes or heart disease. Less intense orgasms can be related to age or be related to a specific partner.

The nitric oxide erectors such as Levitra, Viagra, Cialis etc. can be used safely in people not on cardiac medications since drops in blood pressure can occur.

Premature ejaculation can have a psychological basis. You give very little information for issues that could be discussed in a large book. Health status, obesity, fitness, exercise and diet all play a role. -Ellar, MD

Doc, Thank you for getting back to me on my question. I can certainly attribute quite a lot of my problem to one issue: I DON'T USE IT! Believe it or not except for one sexual encounter over two years ago, I've been celibate, not meeting anyone but(hopefully) taking steps to change that. Best to you. -Richard

Richard, You should take matters in your own hands. Learn the freedom of self pleasure to keep the pipes clean. From video to the net there have never been more visual stimuli to add to the experience or just close your eyes and relive a peak encounter. Fantasy, aromas, music can all enhance things. -Ellar , M.D.
