"Tea Party People Are Not Drinkers"
Posted by: Ron @ Friday, April 23rd 2010 @ 09:47:36 AM EST

To Ron: "Me and the friends I have that attend Tea parties are NOT drinkers like tail gate parties! We are believers that Government should return to the Constitution and less government! We are sick and tired of a Congress that does NOT listen to 'We The People!'"

From Ron: Dear Friend, everyone is sick and tired of a Congress that does not always represent us, but are the tactics of a largely uninformed, slogan shouting group the answer? Consider just three points:

1. The rallies make much to do about paying taxes and gathered on April 15 to rally and rail, but Americans are paying less taxes now then in the last eight years of the previous Congress. Income tax is a fake scare crow. It only frightens people who do not know the truth. Any movement that promotes outright lies is not to be trusted. We may and should respect their views, but not their lies.

2. At a Tea Party Rally this week, a speaker outed South Carolina US Congressman Lindsay Graham in his own state. (See photo of Senator Lindsey at right.) Nearly everyone knew that the Republican Senator was gay, but the Tea Party made it seem that his being gay caused him to vote for a bill. So according to their thinking, gay people do bad things, like vote for things the Tea Party does not like. Is this mind control or old fashion brain washing?

3. At your next Tea Party Rally are you willing to carry a sign that say: "Hey, Everybody. I'm gay?" How well do you think they will accept you?
