Gays left out of US Census
Posted by: Ron @ Saturday, March 20th 2010 @ 10:49:07 AM EST

To Ron from Lee: Did you notice in the US Census questions, there was no mention of being gay? They count who speaks Spanish, who is African American, and who is a Native American, but they refuse to count the number of Gay Americans. Here is a gay link about the US Census. Be sure to check out this gay link: Queer The Census

From Ron: There is a back ass way they can find out if partners are gay but not single gays, which, as you say, does not count gay Americans. Here's the back door Census method. On the first page I checked that I was male and not married. On the second page Hector checked that he is male, and living with his partner. Surely they can connect the dots.

Note to all: The US Census department is legally forbidden to share any information with any other government agency, except the numbers. What you tell them about yourself stays with them. What a great way of "coming out" safely. Now we have to wait until the year 2020 for the next census.

Sexual Words and Phrases

To Ron: Since in your latest poll you've mentioned some urban sexual words and phrases, you know that now you'll have to explain them to the uninitiated.

From Ron: His is a link the Urban Dictionary where all naughty things (gay and straight) maybe looked up. The link I'm sending is on the currently popular word, Snorkeling. Click here for the Urban Dictionary.
