Dear Ron: The idea of Democracy, guns, shouting, and FOX news increases my beliefs that the nation is predominately made up of idiots. Your article in Mid-August newsletter is so right that I am nearly apoplectic in my increased rage over the downfall of the education system, exacerbated by the religious right radicals - who were created and enhanced by the Republican party, and the following of bullshit of the Milton Friedman school of economics, which goes back to the selfish de-generation of the people of the nation and the world, based upon a total lack of empathy and concern for others in every way, which leads directly to the religions of the world, and thus the concentric circles continue to engage and fasten together as the Olympics symbol, probably a joyous plant by all of the above mentioned religious people of the world that preach strong competition as the saving grace, which obviously to any who could think, would have been proven wrong centuries, and thus the circle of idiots fits yet again. -Arnold (At Right and above: A Senior Citizen supporting health care for all Americans.)
Dear Ron: I could not agree more with you on the disgusting display of behavior at town meetings. What are we becoming? What ever happen to manners? I find it all really upsetting as it represent the worst in people and for our increasingly wimpy president does not seem to be able to see the big picture any better than his predecessor and condemn the behavior. -Charles
Dear Ron: Wouldn't it be nice if the nation, as a whole, were 66% [the current Apollo Poll] behind universal health care! -Larry
From Ron: Be sure to take the poll on health care at right. To date no one has written opposing a US Health Care or supporting the yelling of ill behaved mobs.
