Regarding your article in the August Newsletter: After feeling a twinge of guilt for a long time, I finally have decided to do my bit. Being older and living alone, it had just been easier to lug the plastic bags, rather than the paper. But the local supermarket was selling "green" bags with handles for $.99 a piece, and returning $.09 to you every time you used them, so I bought four. One person can make a difference, just as one vote. Someone may see this old guy toting out his bags, and inspire them to follow suit. -Bud
