To Ron: Pope Benedict XVI and the Archbishop of Canterbury both delivered speeches this week on the errors and dangers of Secular Humanism.
Let's think about this.
- How many people have Secular Humanists burned as Witches?
- How many people have Secular Humanists tortured to gain a confession of faith?
- How many people have Secular Humanists killed/imprisoned/tortured as Heretics?
- How many people have Secular Humanists disenfranchised because they followed the wrong faith?
- How many people have Secular Humanists enslaved (to save their souls, of course, the free physical labor is merely a by-product)?
- How many Roman Catholics and Anglicans are able to freely exercise their faith (and get a tax deduction for their contribution) BECAUSE Secular Humanists established a separation between Church and State, freeing them from participation in the State Church?
Doesn't it become obvious very quickly that Secular Humanism has the moral high ground, and it is Religion (these two faiths in particular) that must explain itself? -Rick
From Ron: All good points, and as always we are willing to post opposing view points here.
