Hi John, It would be fine to begin masturbation six to eight weeks after a TURP procedure. You shouldn't be doing anything that you mention if there is any blood still being seen in your urine.

Oral receptive could probably be started before even masturbation if it is done nonviolently. However, I would wait the full eight to even twelve weeks to receive anal intercourse, again depending upon the size of the member or dildo being received. A large penis could damage the freshly reamed prostate and restart bleeding through direct trauma.

Fortunately though, the ample of blood after TURP indicates the great blood supply resulting in rapid healing. In laser prostate surgery time of recovery is reduced and shorter operative time with similar results. Good luck. -Ellar, M.D.
