Good News from Australia where a court has sanely ruled that the Catholic World Youth Day conference cannot be protected from the views of signs and tee shirts of gay and straight protesters. (Somehow the local Aussie government did not want Catholic young people exposed to gay people - probably because the same young people had already been exposed enough to child molesting RC priests.) Let the gay demonstrations begin.

Funny News from Mormon Utah where the man who made and sold 10,000 calendars of former Mormon Missionaries posing shirtless has been excommunicated from the Mormon religion even though he claimed the profits were going to religious charities. The humor and irony is that the Mormon religion, like the Catholic religion, wants their people to make love and make babies for the church. But they do not want their young men to have any appearance of sexiness. These missionaries you see on bikes with bibles have to wear "magic underwear" designed to repress feelings of arousal. Fortunately, it does not always work as there are many stories from gay men where the underwear was removed for bedroom fun.
