painting of a youth with a kite is a far cry from a St. Sebastian painting which we saw previously, but there is a kinship between the two. Fortunately, this youth, saint or no, has only to worry with flying his kite for pleasure, not flying arrows that kill. Not only is his nude torso a reminder of the St. Sebastian paintings, but look how the artist outlined and bulged his penis in the fashion El Greco used on his St. Sebastian 450 years earlier.
